I had finally done it all – grown the huge business, won the awards, built the team, landed the magazine features… and I was sick and miserable and looking for the escape hatch on all I had built.

When I finally made it, I realized that ‘it’ had nothing to do with who I was or how I was designed to operate. I had been following someone else’s templates for years. And sure, they worked. I achieved the things, checked the boxes. And then looked around and realized that none of it actually fit who I really was.

That’s when things really started to unravel. The more misaligned I realized I was, no amount of action or doing could solve it.
